The Best Connection Group are one of the largest suppliers of staff in the UK with over 90 branches nationwide. We are currently seeking Fashion Quality Controllers to join our prestigious Fashion & Beauty client based in Crawley

Reporting to the QC Team Leader, the Quality Controller ensures the quality control of all received products into our workshop to guarantee the compliance of sales announcements and make reliable transactions, in accordance with company standards.

Duties include but not limited to:

To scan product ID and read the data sheet.
To ensure all necessary controls in accordance with company specifications (product value, size, status, etc.) to validate the product data sheet compliancy
To ensure the product restoration if needed to facilitate the transaction (cleaning, stitching, etc.).
To make all the necessary comments to the product data sheet to make the transaction reliable and avoid returns.
Identify the blocking points that could hinder the transaction and make the most appropriate decision for the company, the seller and the buyer.
To act as a trusted third party between the buyer and the seller in case of anomaly.
To seal the items after each check to certify their passage through our workshop.
To follow the proper storage of controlled racks accordingly to the FIFO & area rules.
To alert your line manager in case of doubt or malfunction.
To store your workspace at the end of the shift.
To manage the inventory of the areas you are responsible for.
To be the linking pin between different company services as required (SRM, logistics, Concierge, etc.)

Skills Required:

Previous experience in the Fashion Industry
Fashion Retail Qualification desirable
Textiles Qualification desirable
Return Management
Management of RMV
Management of anomalies (Zendesk, Jira, etc.)
Previous proven experience in a Quality Control role

This is a temp to perm meaning the correct candidate will be offered a full time contract once passing probation. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday 0900-1700 including an hour unpaid lunch break. Paying £12ph
